Lower East Side Pickle Festival
SUN. 10/04 | 12:00PM @ LES VISITOR’S CENTER
Pickle Day celebrates the best of what the Lower East Side has to offer: pickles! We will have over 15 pickles and 30 local restaurants for you to choose from when looking to pickle your fancy. We will also have a home pickling contest and a pickled pooch parade.

The Hum Night 1: Nandi Rose Plunkett (Half Waif) & Johanna Cranitch (White Prism), Alena Spanger (Tiny Hazard) & Adrianne Lenker

The Hum is a platform for unique first time collaborations between a diverse array of women working in various genres such as R&B, art-rock, spectral pop, classical, and punk. Its mission is to connect a diverse community of musicians through a unique performance platform which fosters new sounds, musical partnerships, and gives visibility to women making music.

Aaron Pfenning (Dj)
TUE. 10/06 | 8:00PM @ ACE HOTEL
Brooklyn-based Aaron Pfenning spent his early years in Colorado, before starting the band Chairlift and moving to New York. Pfenning and company released their 2009 debut album on Columbia Records, soundtracked an Apple commercial and toured the world. Pfenning went on to release solo music under the moniker Rewards on DFA Records.

Slice Out Hunger
WED. 10/07 | 6:00PM @ ST. ANTHONY’S CHURCH
Slice Out Hunger is an annual event run by pizza lovers for pizza lovers. Doors open at 6pm and close when the pizza runs out. Tickets are available at the door for $1 each and may be exchanged inside for a slice of pizza from one of the amazing pizzerias, a soda, a dessert item from Brewla Bars or a raffle ticket. Tickets may not be purchased in advance and pizza is served on a first come, first served basis.
