Some call it Lolla Lite, others call it Bunbury .5, and the rest of us know it as MO POP FESTIVAL! Whatever you call it, but don’t call it passed 11 PM (woo dad joke!), Mo Pop is chock full of fun for everyone and every part of your brain, body, and soul.

Mo Pop Festival 2017 July 29 + 30 at West RiverFront Park in Detroit

alt-J / Foster The People / Run The Jewels / Solange / Tyler the Creator / Phantogram / Vance Joy / WAVVES / Aminé / PVRIS / Arkells / PUP / THE HUNNA / Mondo Cozmo / Jay Som / The Shadowboxers / White Reaper / Stef Chura / Michigander / Heaters / Humons / THE SCHOOL OF ROCK ALL STARS

These diversely awesome gaggle of artists comprise a two-stage lineup that will hit the beautiful Detroit Riverfront this weekend for the third year. What’s cool about only have two stages and two days is that the music will be staggered perfectly so there are no overlapping sets. Notably, dope music is not the only thing poppin’ at Mo Pop.

The crowd of 25,000+ not only gets their ears made love to but can enjoy locally themed attractions, including:

  • A craft beer garden – Be sure so swig Mo Pop’s first Limited Ed. Brew FESTIPALE ALE in 16 oz. branded cans from Griffin Claw Brewing Company and the seasonal debut of cult classic Black Phillip from Blake’s Ciders
  • The Craft Bazaar featuring an eclectic assortment of handmade delights from a dozen of Detroit’s most talented tinkers and makers, all curated by Handmade Detroit
  • Food Truck Rally Alley featuring the best gourmet chuckwagons and roach coaches in the Midwest
  • Mo Arcade! Brought to you by Detroit’s own Offworld Arcade fitted like Tetris blocks in an air conditioned tent full of classic arcade games, high score contests, prizes, drinks and local DJs

Tickets are still available via in Weekend, Single Day, and 4-Packs. As part of a partnership with the School of Rock — which will be staging a showcase at the event — children 12 and younger will be admitted free with a paid ticket holder.

Detroiter, dog dad, and down-to-earth dude. Living the creative lifestyle and crusading for quality causes all while adoring alliterations. You can trust 95% of what Curtis says and 100% of what he does (he's vegan and a volunteer after all). He can often be heard misquoting common idioms, his favorite; "Better safe than safari" - but he'll never misquote a rap lyric or movie quote from the 80s-00s.
