Summer traditionally starts in September in San Francisco, and all over the Bay there are hella gallery openings, new music programming, and even a free roller rink at the Fort Mason Center for the Arts!  Take advantage of September and make it a super creative month.

Aggregate Space Gallery is proud to launch this celebration of non-commercial and experimental animation.  Their exhibition will culminate in an award ceremony on September 4th hosted by artist, animator, and Congratulations Pine Tree co-host, Kate Rhoades.  They’ll be screening the top two films from each category, as well as a viewer’s choice award from each category.

REIMAGINE THE ROLLER RINK
Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) presents actions vent ascending frequenciesparticipatory art installation and roller rink experience from creative collective assume vivid astro focus (avaf). The artist-designed outdoor roller-skating rink  features performances, DJ sets, and special programming from September 13 through October 6, 2019. The exhibition is free and open to the public.  Tickets are complimentary — reserve online here. Skate rentals are available for $5 and can be reserved online or in person.
