Secession Art & Design opened our Mission Bernal location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 70 independent artists and designers. The Coalition on Homelessness was formed in 1987 by homeless people and front-line social service workers to address the crisis of homelessness in San Francisco. For over thirty years, we have centered the wisdom and tenacity of currently and formerly homeless San Franciscans in the fight to end homelessness all while working to protect the human rights of those forced to remain on the streets.

Luna Malbroux is a comedian, writer and playwright whose work has been profiled in Glamour, The Atlantic, NPR & more. She was named a Woman to Watch by KQED, and was listed as one of the top 100 cultural influencers of 2018 by YBCA.
Peaches Christ
Peaches Christ is a filmmaker and cult leader living in San Francisco. Her infamous movie events are self-produced at the Castro Theatre and regularly draw over 1,000 attendees to each new production before they tour. Events have featured special guest stars John Waters, Cloris Leachman, Bruce Campbell, Barry Bostwick, Pam Grier, and more. Peaches is the alter- ego of Joshua Grannell, the writer and director of the feature film All About Evil. The award-winning dark comedy gore film stars Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Dekker, Cassandra Peterson, Mink Stole, and Peaches Christ herself. Peaches Christ has been featured in the films Milk, I Am Divine, Diary Of A Teenage Girl, Mansfield 66/67, Scream Queen: My Nightmare On Elm Street, You Don’t Nomi and more. Peaches is also the co-owner of the Into The Dark production company which produces immersive theater, including the hugely popular Terror Vault show at the historic San Francisco Mint building.
Bitchy Waiter
Bitchy Waiter is waiter in New York City and he bitches about it on the Internet. He has written a book based on his blog, The Bitchy Waiter and has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning, NBC’s TODAY Show as a service industry expert.
Supervisor Matt Haney
Matt Haney is a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, representing District 6. He is a past Commissioner and past President and Vice President of the San Francisco Board of Education. He was elected to the Board of Education in 2012, and re-elected in 2016. In 2016, Barack Obama endorsed Supervisor Haney’s successful re-election race for School Board making him the only local San Francisco elected official to ever receive that honor.
Sister Roma
Nun, Activist, Fundraiser, Writer, Actor, Emcee/Hostess, Icon; Sister Roma has done it all. When she’s not taking down Facebook as the creator of the #MyNameIs Campaign or raising money for LGBTQ refuge and asylum, Roma travels the globe as an LGBTQ ambassador for the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Her sharp wit and over-the-top personality have landed her gigs in television, film, and stages worldwide, hosting Pride celebrations, red carpets, and events everywhere. Oh, and for those who question her title as The Most Photographed Nun in the World™ by saying “What about Mother Teresa?”, Roma has one thing to say: Google it bitch!
Heather Knight
Heather Knight is a columnist working out of City Hall and covering everything from politics to homelessness to family flight and the quirks of living in one of the most fascinating cities in the world. She believes in holding politicians accountable for their decisions or, often, lack thereof – and telling the stories of real people and their struggles. She co-hosts the Chronicle’s flagship daily podcast, Fifth and Mission, and co-founded its program #TotalSF to celebrate the wonder and whimsy of San Francisco.
Stroy Moyd
Stroy Moyd’s energetic and eccentric brand of shattering assumption comedy has made him a favorite at comedy clubs and campuses across the nation. Stroy is a 3x Champion of the Laugh Factory’s Fresh Faces Competition, an actor, a producer, and CEO of Hella Funny Entertainment.
Jamie DeWolf
Jamie DeWolf is a performer, filmmaker, writer, live event producer, arts educator and circus ringmaster from Oakland, CA whose films have won over 35 international awards. He’s written and performed with inmates at San Quentin Penitentiary, won “Performance of the Year” by NPR’s Snap Judgment, was voted “Best Poet” and “Best Filmmaker” from the East Bay Express. As one of the most in demand variety show hosts in the Bay Area and beyond, he’s a regular emcee and curator for circus troupes, vaudeville showcases and music festivals across the U.S. His filmmaking career has run the range of audience award-winning dark comedies, from his feature film crime caper Smoked, to gritty documentaries and devastating exposes of social justice issues paired with the Center for Investigative Reporting with the Off/Page Project, the NY Times featured Bigger Picture Project and the XQ Super School Project. He continues to write and direct multiple film projects with his production company Punch Up Productions.
Kat Robichaud
After more than a decade of touring up and down the east coast, Kat Robichaud sang her way to the top 10 on Season 5 of NBC’s The Voice in 2016. She then released her first solo album, “Kat Robichaud and the Darling Misfits”. Following up the momentum and critical acclaim of her album, Robichaud launched Misfit Cabaret with partner Jordan Nathan– a dazzling musical variety show performed in San Francisco, Seattle, and LA, along with Kat’s second solo album “Misfit Cabaret”. Each night features an ensemble cast of musicians, drag darlings, burlesque bombshells, aerialists and puppets. Nato Green
San Francisco native Nato Green is the country’s only semi-functional hybrid of comedian, writer, and union organizer. Nato recently starred in the streaming series Laughter Against the Machine on Means.tv, the first worker-owned post-capitalist streaming platform. He also appears regularly doing political comedy chat on the podcasts The Bugle, The Last Post, and The Bitchuation Room. Nato Green released his second comedy album The Whiteness Album on Blonde Medicine Records, and appeared in the film Sorry to Bother You. The Whiteness Album was named by the NPR show Bullseye with Jesse Thorn one of the best comedy albums of 2018.
Irene Tu
Irene Tu is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. In 2019, she was named one of Vulture’s “Comedians You Should and Will Know.” She has performed at numerous festivals including SF Sketchfest and Comedy Central’s Clusterfest. You can currently catch her hosting (virtual) Starline Comedy every Monday on Zoom.
Peter-Astrid Kane
Pete is SF Pride’s communications manager, a former editor of SF Weekly, an occasional BAS contributor, and generally just dynamite with a laser beam.
Scott Levkoff
Scott Levkoff is the Creative Director & cofounder of Playable Agency and Mystic Midway. He’s performer, producer, wears incredible costumes, and does world class puppetry.
Amiee Kushner
Amiee is SF’s favorite ginger Jewess, a native of the Bay Area, and in charge of the money stuff at Broke-Ass Stuart. She was the campaign manager for Stuart’s quixotic quest to be mayor in 2015. She is currently in training to be a therapist and wants to hear all about your mom.
Kayla Brittingham
Kayla is Stuart’s fiancé. She somehow tolerates him…most of the time. She wanted this bio to just say “Stuart’s Angel Princess”
Stuart’s Family
Jay and Janice Schuffman created Stuart and they have a whole lot of embarrassing stories to tell about him. Ross Schuffman has the kind of dirt on Stuart that only a younger brother could have.
Stuart’s Roommates
Stuart’s roommates are saints for putting up with him for all these years. But they’re more than just his roommates! Nancy Chung owns the excellent neighborhood bar The Wooden Nickel. Rebecca Pinnell teaches virtual hands-on cocktail classes, and Dan…well we’re not really sure what Dan does.
