The Big Bad List of Rad Ongoing Events

Sign up for the best newsletter EVER!

Every week, we curate a newsletter of the best and boldest in Bay Area events and entertainment. We usually like to focus on the things that don’t happen every day, the once-in-a-lifetime, totally unique experiences that you can only find in this very special neck of the woods.

But you know, there are so many dope events that happen weekly, monthly, quarterly, or every single day! We wanted to make sure we had a special place to showcase these ongoing events, which are just as vital to making the Bay weird, wild, and wonderful. Stewart, here’s the info on my book release and art show at Vesuvio:

6-8 pm Wednesday the 28th of July at Vesuvio, 255 Columbus Ave. Convenience is the name of the book and it covers one night in North Beach in 1979. There are chapters on the mabuhay and Savoi Tivoli with early punk rockers. Following my show magic lantern with show films on early punk in North beach and Ron Turner of Last Gasp will be selling his new book on the Mab. I have graphic to go with this, but I see no way of uploading them to this message. Hope you can make it,

    Jack “The Hat” Yaghubian
