Short Doc on the Iconic Roxie Reopening

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If you’re a fan of cinema or just love this old theater, you’ll enjoy seeing the short doc about the Roxie reopening after 434 days of closure.  The Roxie is San Francisco’s longest running movie theater, it’s been playing “pictures” since 1911.

This heartfelt little doc about the reopening of our favorite little theater stars the theater’s executive director Lex Sloan, along with other Roxie fans.

If you you’d like to support the Roxie (it’s been a non-profit since 2008). or go see an awesome film check them out at www.roxie.com

This doc runs 10 mins and is unrated ; )
