This is especially an honor because we are the “Reader’s Choice” winner, which means the people of the Bay Area, people just like you, voted for BAS in overwhelming numbers. It’s even more flattering when you see the runners up were such excellent websites as Mission Local and KQED.
Kicking so much ass isn’t easy though. It costs a minimum of $4500 a month just to keep the lights on, and that’s before Alex or I get paid. So we’re hoping you’ll consider chipping in $6 or more a month to the Broke-Ass Stuart Patreon.
