BAS Voted Best Website in the Bay Area!!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I’m very proud to announce that BrokeAssStuart.com was voted “Best Local Website” in the 48Hills/SF Bay Guardian Best of of the Bay awards. You can come celebrate with us on Wednesday at El Rio.

This is especially an honor because we are the “Reader’s Choice” winner, which means the people of the Bay Area, people just like you, voted for BAS in overwhelming numbers. It’s even more flattering when you see the runners up were such excellent websites as Mission Local and KQED.

Kicking so much ass isn’t easy though. It costs a minimum of $4500 a month just to keep the lights on, and that’s before Alex or I get paid. So we’re hoping you’ll consider chipping in $6 or more a month to the Broke-Ass Stuart Patreon.

That money allows our tireless writers and editors to put out about 20 articles a week! Here are just some of the important things we’ve covered this year:

Plus we deliver you the best events each week straight to your inbox, so that you can stay up on all the amazing things going on in the Bay.

So please join that Broke-Ass Stuart Patreon at $6 or more a month. Those who can afford to support at a higher tier help ensure that BAS will always be free for those who can’t afford to contribute at all.

Thank you SO much. None of this is possible without you.

Sending you love & solidarity,

Stuart, Alex, and Team BAS
