Born in New Jersey, raised in Atlanta, and, in 2012, the winner of Houston’s Funniest Person, Broussard  isn’t exactly sure where he’s from. After earning a degree in Applied Mathematics, he started doing  opens mics while dayjobbing as a Financial Analyst. He then left that job to pursue comedy full time. And  also because he got fired. He has appeared on Adam Devine’s House Party, The League, and The Mindy Project. He was  featured as a New Face at the 2015 Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival where also was runner up  to Jimmy Carr in the International Roastmasters Invitational.

Experience an entire day & evening of Gothic Subculture: Immerse yourself in art, fashion, people and music! On the haunted USS Hornet aircraft carrier docked on Alameda Island, there is going to be an insanely interesting and creative festival thrown by the dark arts experts in the Bay Area The Menagerie Oddities Market! We’re talking 56 vendors (anything goth – art, fashion, and oddities), full bars, food trucks, tours of the haunted ship, goth DJs, tons of live performance artists, and even an after-party in Oakland! Get ready to experience the ultimate playground for the creative dark arts!

Hubba Hubba Revue presents: Time Machine!

Rude House presents: Rebirth

Join Hollow Eve and the members of Rude House for a night of queer performance inspired by the groundbreaking art of the beloved Phatima Rude. Let Phatima’s fascination for the innate connection between creation/destruction and birth/death bring you into a space of REBIRTH, where the authenticity, absurdity, fear processing, emotional embodiment, freedom, and radical joy that she gifted us with will echo through new generations of queer artists. Lynch vs Cronenberg, Round 3: Dune vs Crash

Hit up the Roxie for the final night of their Lynch vs. Cronenberg mini-fest! Tonight’s offering pits Lynch’s sci-fi cult classic, Dune, against Cronenberg’s twisted erotic thriller, Crash in a mind-melting double feature. Who will win? The audience, obviously!

It’s time for Oaklash, the Bay Area’s drag and queer performance festival! This year’s fest will feature a full week extravaganza including live performance, a film festival, music, DJs, panels, workshops, vendors, all-ages entertainment and more! Kings, queens, and queers from the Bay Area and beyond are invited to be part of this celebration of our local queer culture.

Lizzie Locker has been an artist, entertainer, and “glamour girl” since birth. Since 2017, Lizzie has been writing professionally for small businesses, as well as creatively. She has published essays in VIE Magazine, and has written website and social media content for pole dance studios, afterschool programs, and reference sites. At the same time, Lizzie has also continued to develop her performance career at queer nightlife events across the Bay Area. She can be found both onstage and off, reading her stories aloud in bars, emceeing drag and burlesque shows, and producing arts events that defy genre and expectation.
