One of the best parts of any concert is snagging a handmade poster to cherish the memory of a great show. Those artists behind the gig posters? Seriously talented. And guess what?
For just two days, you can browse and buy poster art from over 25 artists – for FREE! Mark March 2nd and 3rd on your calendar and head over to The Regency Ballroom’s Social Hall in San Francisco. It’s your chance to meet and shop the artwork of 25 music poster artists in one epic show.
Flatstock made its debut over 20 years ago in 2002 at San Francisco’s Cellspace. Since then, it has toured across the United States, Europe, and Mexico. Organized by The American Poster Institute (API), Flatstock is now making a stop in SF as part of Noise Pop this year.
“The best concert posters have always captured both the essence of the music they promoted and the spirit of the time in which they were produced.”
– The American Poster Institute
At the event, you’ll have the chance to shop and admire works from some of the top gig poster designers. Flatstock 91 offers a continuous series of opportunities to experience exceptional poster art firsthand and to meet the talented artists behind it.
The American Poster Institute is all about spreading the love for poster art! It’s a non-profit group on a mission to boost awareness and love for these awesome creations – in turn, furthering public awareness and love for poster art form.
API & Noise Pop Present FLATSTOCK 91 in San Francisco. Flatstock is a FREE event with no ticketing – just walk on into the gallery space and enjoy the show!

Katy has lived in The Bay Area since the age of 3. While other kids were attending summer camp & soccer practice, she was raised selling wares at craft shows with her working artist parents and spent vacations in a small 1920s Montana log cabin. This has all given her a unique perspective on the ever-changing texture of San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area. Currently a blend of all that is The Bay Area - she's a web designer at a tech-company, artist and DIY teacher.
