Eat, Game, & Sing in San Francisco This Spring!

It’s Springtime in San Francisco, which means it’s time to put your phone on silent for a while and step out into our fair city to sing, eat, and play with the wonderful people and programming on offer.
Whether in the flesh or on a live stream, the journalists and creators at KQED have some enticing things planned for us. You can eat with chefs, rub elbows with your favorite newscasters, sing with storied sopranos, and play games with rebels.
Events that will open your mind and tickle your appetites are all on the menu, so mark your calendars and jump on in…
May 1 & 2

Reframe your perspective with a provocative two-day ideas festival from PBS News and KQED!
Pioneering thought meets discerning journalism live onstage as some of today’s most inventive minds and changemakers join the hosts of PBS News Hour for in-depth interviews, timely discussions, and moving performances.
Hear legendary journalist & podcaster Kara Swisher’s takes on today’s media and political climate, along with former U.S. Labor Secretary Robert Reich speaking truth to power, and if we’re lucky, we may just hear Nancy Pelosi’s plan on how Democrats may effectively challenge the rise of the Right in DC.
The 2-day festival is packed with incredible West Coast journalists, politicians, and thought leaders, all together at the KQED headquarters in San Francisco.
