Get Smart About Fish, Get FREE Sushi
I eat fish a lot – a lot – because I am a fitness-conscious person who is interested in things like healthy fats and keeping my thighs to a minimum. But I’ll be the first to admit I, rather shamefully, don’t know much about the species of fish that I eat: I don’t know much other than to buy ‘wild caught,’ including what is being over-fished and what isn’t. I’ll bet you all are also no wiser.
But hey-o, ignorant consumers – come to Chelsea Market tonight, learn your little hearts out, and try some FREE sustainable sushi samples. Paul Greenberg, writer and fisherman, will be exploring the history of the fish that we eat the most '” salmon, sea bass, cod and tuna '” and examining where each currently stands, with overfishing and bio-technology threatening the wild population. There will be tasty free fish courtesy of Lobster Place.
