FREE Knitting Classes at the Brooklyn Yarn Cafe
Winter would be easier if we were all bears, because then we could sleep away several months. Instead, we humans have to find ways to entertain ourselves to avoid winter madness, like watching the entire series of Arrested Development in a three-week span, reading the books we’ve been carrying around for years, etc. Or if you get really ambitious, you can try to knit a cover for your bike so it looks more like your grandmother’s couch when it’s stuck in your apartment for months. If you don’t even know how to knit, or you’ve started a scarf and can’t figure out how to finish it, The Brooklyn Yarn Cafe can be your guide. They have three FREE knitting classes each week. Along with cupcakes, coffee, and snacks, the cafe carries enough yarn to make a cover for your entire apartment.
