Northside Market Opens Today! Brooklynites and AC Lovers Rejoice!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

So apparently markets are the new $2 PBR of Brooklyn, and I am 100% okay with that. Taking cues from the success of predecessors like Brooklyn Flea and most recently, Smorgasburg, Northside Market knows what the borough likes and is opening a summer-only indoor market in Williamsburg starting today, Saturday June 25th.

Over 35 vendors will be offering up the usual suspects: adorable clothing, handmade goods, and food. But you know what it’s got that most other markets–or if you’re like me, your apartments–don’t? MOTHEREFFING AIR CONDITIONING. Like, the real kind that you pop into Duane Reade for while walking around. It also has a space for live music, which will put to good use today with free jazz all day to celebrate the grand opening.
Vendors include Cookie Road, The Yarn Tree, eco-friendly Engage Green and many more. Check out the full listing HERE.
