The words “Evolution” and “God” don’t often go together, but if you read this site enough you know that the words “FREE”, “Beer”, and “Wine” often do.  Loyal reader and person of extreme awesomeness Liz Wu has dropped a dime on yet another FREE boozy event.

At 8pm on Tuesday, June 9th author Robert Wright will be giving a lecture entitled “The Evolution of God” at the San Francisco Art Institute. The lecture will discuss the ways that God evolves throughout the Judeo-Christian bibles, a well as the Koran, while also drawing parallels between the three religions.  My man Robert apparently knows a lot about this stuff considering he’s written a few best selling book on the topic.  At least that’s what his Wikipedia page told me.

After the lecture there will be a reception at which you can get all pagan and worship Dionysus by drinking the afore mentioned free booze.  Plus, for all you author and/or lecturer groupies, this reception may be your chance to show Mr. Wright how much you like his stuff.  You’re probably gonna have to RSVP to get in, so go here to learn more about the lecture and RSVP.

Thanks again to Liz Wu for the tip.  If you’ve got a tip please go here tell me all about it.
