FREE Judgement Day Show Tonight at Amoeba in Berkeley

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I wish I looked this cool when I held an instrument. I generally just look nervous like I'm afraid I'll break something.

I really don’t know what else to say about Judgement Day that we haven’t already said here, here, and here.  Quite simply, they are bad ass!  So instead I’ll tell you how I feel about Amoeba:

If god had a basement, it would look like Amoeba Records. What used to be a bowling alley  is now arguably the best music store in the City (I’m speaking of the SF location of course). I’m often afraid to enter it because I worry that I’ll go ape-shit, spend all my money, max out my credit card, and end up doing back alley 'œfavors' just to pay my rent. Fuck you Amoeba Records, you magnificent bastard!

But yeah, about Judgement Day, the band plays instrumental metal music with just a violin, cello and drums.  And their live performances are fucking epic.  If you’re free tonight I highly recommend going.  They might end up being your favorite new band.  They are certainly one of mine.
