Oh, boy!! BOOOOOZE!!!
Well, if you were too deep into a bender to buy tickets to this Friday’s annual bar crawl, you can look upon the melee as a spectator sport as our own little pied piper and his trail of beer rats do our cannonball run through the hazy streets of San Francisco.
From previous experience, I can say it will be fairly hard to tell exactly when this night train will be pulling into this years fine assortment of gin mills, but the itinerary is roughly The Tee-Off (Outer Richmond) at 9:30pm, The Riptide (Outer Sunset) at 10:35pm, 15 Romolo (North Beach) at 11:45pm, and finally Dirty Thieves (The Mission) at 1am.
If you were ever curious to see exactly how many shades of green were possible on the human face, I strongly suggest setting up your lawn chairs at the finish line on 24th Street and perhaps packing a splash guard.
Seriously, though, if you’re a fan of Stuart’s (he’s such a sweet boy!), and you live in these districts, come hang out in these cozy dives, give the barkeeps some healthy, neighbourly business, and cheer the merriment on. Beso!
