I first met Rachel when she was visiting San Francisco. I didn’t have a place to live, so I was crashing with my girlfriend and her roommates, and Rachel was staying staying there as well. To quote her, “I remember you running around the house in your underwear, and immediately, I was like, ‘This guys is nuts. I love it.'” Yeah, I generally don’t belong in public.
Besides having a last name that seems to need another vowel, Rachel is also an artist and has even been flown to New Zealand because of one of her murals. You should check out her art here. She’s also taken part in Julie Michelle’s I Live Here SF project and as you guessed it, Julie took the above photo. I heart Julie and her work.

Best deal you’ve ever gotten: A plane ticket to New Zealand in exchange for painting a mural!
Favorite free thing to do: Cruise my bike around the '˜hood.
If you woke up a millionaire, what’s the first thing you’d buy?: A house with a garden!
Despite not having money, do you still love your life?: Oh man, do I ever.
Do you own my book?: Yep, got it as a gift when I first moved to SF.
Best hangover cure: E-mergency + Huevos Rancheros.
