Coating Your Stomach at Rossi's Deli
Cheap liquor usually isn’t a problem on Castro, but cheap food can be little harder to track down- with the exception of pizza by the slice, which only sounds great when your stomach resembles a wineskin.
Before you embark on your next flash flood, stop by at Rossi’s Delicatessen for food that isn’t necessarily of the fried grease variety or the kind that eats your wallet while you eat it.
Highly recommended are their deviled eggs, which are the princes of cheap food in a pretty dress. For a tad extra, they’ll smash it into a sandwich for you. The bread will probably help you down the road.
They’ve got some pretty good falafel too, but whichever route you take, remember to pick up some chewing gum for after.
