Score a FREE pair of Ladies Levi's Today in Union Square
I didn’t quite realize until I moved into a new apartment a few months ago exactly how much crap I own. Whether it’s my collection of Dawson’s Creek DVDs or underwear that I’ve had since eighth grade (seriously), there’s a lot of junk hanging out in dresser drawers and buried at the bottom of my closet that I just don’t need, but don’t want to deal with getting rid of.
Good thing our friends at Levi’s totally understand this conundrum (and also how to run a bad-ass marketing campaign for new products). Today, beginning at 10am in Union Square, the first 1,000 people to show up with an item that doesn’t “fit” in their lives anymore (accessories, ski jumpers, a vintage waffle maker) will walk away with a FREE pair of new women’s Levi’s Curve ID jeans. All trade-in items will be donated to Goodwill, so don’t bring anything too janky.
In addition to FREE jeans, Bobbie Thomas, stylist and lady you’ve probably seen on TV talking about fashion, will be around to give wardrobe tips (so don’t dress ugly), and She & Him, aka M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel, apparently will be performing a live set! Levi’s is seriously trying to get you to call in sick to work.
Levi’s 1,000 Pair of Jeans Giveaway and live music by She & Him Friday, September 17, 10am – 6pm Union Square (Geary & Powell)
