FREE Bubbly & Snacks at Jewelry/Design Shop Opening in The Mission

I want these Shana Astrachan studs for Christmas...YES, it's almost Christmas.

One of the most annoying things about coming to terms with the fact that it’s the holiday season, besides the tree-lighting ceremonies (sorry that I don’t like all the pomp and circumstance) is shopping for gifts.  Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or just accept that other people do, it’s very likely you’ll have to purchase a gift for someone, and it’s also very likely you’ll have no idea what that someone wants and spend way too much time trying to figure it out.

I’ve found that in San Francisco, the Mission is a great place to buy gifts because of the sheer number of adorable stores that sell really cool stuff.  Tonight the Mission adds one more, a jewelry/design shop at Urban Interstice Gallery on 26th that will carry, obviously, jewelry (like the studs pictured above that I want) and design-y things by several local artisans, including Shana Astrachan and Melissa Borrell.  To make your gift shopping infinitely more enjoyable (but mostly to celebrate the store’s opening) there will be FREE champagne and appetizers by Vanya’s Kitchen and Black Jet Bakery.  These artists don’t mess around.
