Snag a Spot on a FREE Walking Tour of North Beach (Bonus: Pizza Tasting)

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Gianni is older than you, and that means he knows more. Obviously.

North Beach is a tricky neighborhood – enter the wrong bar and you could be accosted by commuting clubbers or hungry tourists looking to carbo-load on massive pasta dishes. But once you know the ins-and-outs of the neighborhood and have scoped out the best dive bars or pizza joints, you can do pretty well on a limited budget. So to help out the North Beach virgins and the rest of us who don’t speak Italian, Gianni’s North Beach wants to give you a FREE walking tour of the neighborhood tomorrow, and since you can’t come within two blocks of Columbus Ave without getting hungry, Gianni will even hook you up with some FREE pizza from some of his favorite local spots.

Move quick though, Gianni can’t take every Broke-Ass in town for a walk around the neighborhood, so he’s only got a limited number of free spots open. So hop on this RSVP link right here, tell Gianni you’re in and he’ll hook you up from there. Then next time you have friends in town you can take them on your own walking tour like some kind of big boy Mafia Don.

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
