FREE Admission to YBCA Galleries for College Students This Month
There’s not too many things I miss about being a student, but sometimes, you little bastards in pursuit of higher learning, it pays to have that tiny little plastic identification card. Case in point: This whole month, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts is offering FREE entry to their galleries with a student I.D. There are a couple awesome-looking exhibitions coming up, like Euan Macdonald’s 9,000 pieces (pictured above) and Song Dong’s Dad and Mom, Don’t Worry About Us, We Are All Well. This promotion is particularly nice because, like me, a lot of students can’t make it to the museum for the FREE first Tuesday of the month. Those Tuesdays are actually kind nightmarish anyway because of the crazy hordes of people that show up and invade your personal space, so methinks it’s about time I go digging in my junk drawer to find my faded ID. Or find someone who’ll make me a fake one.
