Feeling like you need to get off your broke-ass and make a difference in this world? Why not come down to Café du Nord tonight, Tuesday, October 9th at 8 p.m. to fight against poverty across the country? The charity concert is presented by Thrillcall and features three bands that are keen on playing for a greater cause.
Pop Etc. is an indie rock band that originated from Berkeley and later picked up and drove the 3,000 miles to make their home in Brooklyn. Pop Etc. offer up a healthy dosage of electro synthesized tunes overflowing with all kinds of “pop” sensibilities on their debut self-titled album.The band was formerly known as The Morning Benders. In 2008, they released their debut album, Talking Through Tin Cans, on +1 Records. The band changed their name to in March of this year. The Frail and Doe Eye open for the headliner.
