SFMOMA FREE All Weekend!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

sfmomaI was recently in the Big Apple and luckily scored FREE passes to the MOMA while I was there.  It was really awesome – but I would like to think that our SF MOMA is even cooler because they are letting everyone in for FREE this weekend!

Festivities include a celebratory kickoff party, 24-hour live art variety show, all-night gallery access, Family Day, and more. Museum admission is FREE to all Thursday, May 30, through Sunday, June 2, 2013  for their Countdown Celebration. You see the SF MOMA is getting a face-lift, so to speak, and getting completely remodeled. During this three year period, the museum will be closed for reconstruction. There will be off-site exhibits around San Francisco in the meantime, to hopefully keep you broke-ass art lovers satisfied until you can experience the new SF MOMA.

For a full schedule and to see what will be going this weekend see: http://www.sfmoma.org/exhib_events/countdown_celebration

Make sure to R.S.V.P. via Eventbrite here to get in for FREE: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/6639427707?ref=ebtnebtckt
