Do you hate laughing? I didn’t think so. That’s why you should check out The Mission Position, a new weekly comedy show that happens every Thursday at Lost Weekend Video. Here’s a bunch of important information about it.

The Mission Position is a new weekly stand-up comedy showcase featuring the city’s most accomplished local talent at Lost Weekend Video, the Mission District’s most beloved video store. Lost Weekend has quickly become San Francisco’s hottest spot for independent comedy. And now, what started out as a sex and relationship radio show called The Mission Position, has evolved into a live stand-up comedy event. The radio show’s hosts, comics Matt Lieb and Kate Willett, along with comedian Matt Louv, produce and host this regular night of edgy fun, where nobody’s afraid to explore taboo topics and point out the humorous side of drugs, sex, hipsters, existentialism, love, burritos and terrible roommates. Each show welcomes a different lineup of guest comedians. The show starts at 8pm and is located in the Cynic Cave of Lost Weekend Video. $5 tickets are available through Goldstar.

Cool right? See this week’s line up right here.
