Meet the Mayoral Candidates in Noe Valley
The Noe Valley Democratic Club is throwing itself into the fray of the SF Mayor’s race this evening by having a very public “Meet the Candidates” event in Noe Valley Town Square. During elections Democratic Clubs all over SF hold these events to decide which candidates they are going to endorse. Some of these clubs wield real power because they have the budget to send out mailers with their endorsements. So this should be pretty interesting. All the details below are from the FB invite:
We have invited Angela Aliota, London Breed, Amy Farah Weiss, Jane Kim, and Mark Leno to speak to the club. Each candidate will be given 20 minutes to present and answer questions (10 minute presentation and 10 minute Q&A). All 5 candidates have indicated that they should be able to make the meeting.
