Sure you can tell your Johnnie Walker from your Wild Turkey, but is there an inner geek behind that whiskey-swilling, mustachioed façade? One that yearns to know how that lovely libation came to be before it graced your glass? Get your hands dirty learning the science behind the still (cocktail shaking robots, anyone?) as we dive into the chemistry behind your cocktail. The Bay Area’s master distillers will indulge your mad scientist side, as you geek out over interactive beverage creation stations, and enjoy a drink (or three). Explore how alcohol makes its way from the ground to your gullet and become a true bar star.
Tickets include: Tastings from the Bay’s best boozeries, molecular gastronomy-style cocktails, hands-on distilling demos, mini-interviews with the Master Distillers, and the chance to have a robot serve you a drink.
