CatHead’s BBQ Has Permanently Closed
Somehow this one managed to slip by my radar, which is odd, because I pass by CatHead’s BBQ a lot. But yes it’s true, the BBQ joint famous for biscuits the size of a cat’s head has closed after 8 years in SoMa.
When I reached out to Richard Park, who started Cathead’s with his wife Pam Schafer, he told me “We unfortunately couldn’t hang on anymore and had to close.”
This pandemic is a motherfucker.

Hopefully another great BBQ spot moves into that space. SF definitely does not have enough BBQ.
