SF Irish Bars With Parklets, And Irish Bands Doing Livestreams

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

The Napper Tandy, 24th Street

St. Patrick’s Day 2021 is here, and the full Irish culture/alcohol experience is available in San Francisco. Though the Irish Bank and The Chieftain are currently closed, there are several smaller SF Irish bars with parklets whose roads rise up to meet you. There’s also legendary Irish music acts livestreaming concerts on March 17, if you prefer to just get your Irish meal and drink(s) as carry-out to carry home for your St. Paddy’s Day celebration.

Casements, 2351 Mission St.

We’ve listed the best currently open San Francisco Irish bar parklets below. You can also just order take-out from them! But if you want to have the in-person St. Patrick’s Day experience, there’s a few Tullamore Do’s and Don’ts we must remind you of:

  • DO wear a mask at all times when not at your table/eating/drinking.
  • DON’T hang out within six feet of people you don’t live with.
  • DO order a full meal (AND TIP!) with every alcohol order.
  • DON’T mix socially with patrons at other tables.
  • DO Limit your parklet visit to 90 minutes or fewer. Other people are waiting for that table!
