I’m in need of a river day. Basking in the sun, dipping into the water, sipping on beers, snacking on a picnic. There’s this great little beach spot I like to visit in Healdsburg. Fraenkel Film Festival

The Fraenkel Film Festival is an artist-programmed, 11-night event that we believe will be the first-ever film festival presented by an art gallery. We asked ten gallery artists including Nan Goldin, Carrie Mae Weems, and Christian Marclay to select two films that have been important to them. From July 9 to 20, their selections will screen—two per night—at the Roxie Theater. All of the proceeds from the festival will support the Roxie.

Eraserheads
