Win a Pair of Tickets to “Climbing the SF Food Chain” + Dinner!!
I’m just gonna copy and paste the info for this one since I’m pretty slammed right now, but in a very San Francisco moment, I looked at the people involved with this rad event and laughed because I’m friends with nearly all of them. SF is the smallest town ever. Anyways, if you wanna win the tickets (which are valued at $75 each) email Contests@BrokeAssStuart.com with “Climbing the SF Food Chain” as the subject. The winner will be randomly chosen and announced via twitter at noon on Tuesday, August 7th.
From the fine people at the Commonwealth Club:
On the evening of August 9th we’re hosting Climbing the SF Food Chain, a panel discussion and pop-up dinner focusing on the strange and inspiring paths that local chefs/restaurateurs/entrepreneurs take to reach the top in San Francisco’s competitive culinary scene. Our city is obviously saturated with good food and creative souls, and we wanted to explore how our all-star panelists have carved out their own niches and made a name for themselves in this eating-obsessed town.
We have a great panel lined up, including Craig Stoll of Delfina fame; Anthony Myint of Mission Chinese, Mission Bowling, etc., Richie Nakano of Hapa Ramen, and Iso Rabins of Forage SF/Forage Kitchen and the Underground Market. We also have Valerie Luu, one half of the Rice Paper Scissors duo, acting as our moderator. After the one-hour panel we’re heading over to SF Foodlab for INFORUM’s first guerilla dining experience. Blair Warsham and graffEats are partnering up with INFORUM and our panelists to craft a one of a kind pop-up dinner with great food and drinks, music and awesome company. The party will be hosted by Katie Kwan, the other half of the Rice Paper Scissors team.
