There comes a time in every broke-ass’ life where he or she realizes there are other broke folk looking our for their own kind. The Shit Show is one of those moments. Every second Saturday at The Showdown, Fuck Off Presents and Team Terrible throw this amazing party where the sole intention is to get you fed, drunk, dancing, and laid (in no particular oder of course). This time around they have a new resident DJ Taurus Scott of Low End Theory and Hellfyre Club in Los Angeles.

Stuart Schuffman, aka Broke-Ass Stuart, is a travel writer, poet, TV host, activist, and general shit-stirrer. His weekly column, Broke-Ass City, appears every other Thursday in the San Francisco Examiner. Stuart’s writing has been translated into four languages. In 2011 Stuart created and hosted the travel show Young, Broke, and Beautiful on IFC and in 2015 he ran for Mayor of San Francisco and got nearly 20k votes.
