The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Life is weird and sometimes you end up at Monarch a lot. This is one of those times for me apparently. Thursday is the inaugural event for Pisco Sour Amazing Hour. While I don’t know if there will be FREE empanadas on every Thursday, on this particular one Wes Rowe (famously of Wes Burger), will be making them and giving them out out with each Pisco Sour purchase. Plus the amazing Golden Gate Dolls will be doing circusy stuff and there will be awesome music. All the details are below. Also, peep the FB invite Enjoy!

Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to happy hour 3.0 better known as PISCO SOUR AMAZING MUSIC HOUR at Monarch’s fantabulous lounge bar every Thursday from 6-10pm.. The dance music experts of VINYL DREAMS and friends curate a unique slower vibe of sensual head nodding pisco discoesque inspired rhythms that thrive in the right place at the right time, AFTER WORK. Monarch barman MOE ARCE and his crew double these efforts by designing delectable mouth watering PISCO LIBATIONS and offering celebratory specials on the classic PISCO SOUR, a standard must have cocktail these days. But it doesn’t stop there, entrepreneur pop up chef Wes Rowe of the locally successful WES BURGERS creates a one of a kind food menu using PISCO PORTON as an infusing ingredient. Just as you thought it was over, its not because THE GOLDEN GATE DOLLS will be performing meowmazing circus acts to make your jaw drop and drown in your own splendour. Only in SAN FRANPISCO…

Pisco Sour Djs:

It’s gonna be sweet…and savory!
