Coachella in San Francisco? Here Are The April Concert Dates!
Goldenvoice produces Coachella every year in Southern California and they didn’t want to leave Northern California hangin, so this month they’re putting on a bunch of concerts in SF featuring some great talent from the Coachella Lineup.
Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt
Remy Banks, DJ Alchemist
Tue, Apr 7, 2015 – 7:00PM
@ The Warfield
The brash & talented Action Bronson is coming to SF. His lyrics are both funny and imaginative, and his cadence has been compared to GhostfaceKillah. His new album just dropped and his single ‘Baby Blue’ is soulful and catchy. He’s teaming up with lyricist Earl Sweatshirt out of Los Angelos, who will definitely add to the swagger on stage.
Madeon
Adventure Live
The M Machine
Fri, Apr 10, 2015 – 9:00PM
@ The Warfield
This French DJ sold out The Regency so quickly they decided to move the concert to The Warfield. His new album “Adventure” just dropped this March and to be expected it’s fun, dancy, and draws on that great summer sound similar to fellow french DJ M83.
Clean Bandit
Jess Glynne
Mon, Apr 13, 2015 – 8:00PM
@ The Regency Ballroom
Clean Bandit had one of the biggest hits of 2014 titled “Rather Be” which features songstress Jess Glynne. Conveniently Jess Glynne is the opener at this concert, so the show will feature “Rather Be” in all its proper glory.
Desaparecidos
Special Guests Touche Amore and Joyce Manor
Thu, Apr 16, 2015 – 8:00PM
@The Regency Ballroom
Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes fame fronts Desaparecidos and pairing them w/ Touche Amore and Joyce Manor means this lineup is seriously stacked with bands who share the acoustic pop-punk sound that everyone loves from Conor Oberst.
ANNIE MAC
Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 9:00 PM
@ Mezzanine
Annie Mac is a DJ who works at the BBC. She just got a major promotion to replace Zane Lowe. In the UK this is the equivalent of Stephen Colbert replacing David Letterman. So for Brits, she’s a very big deal. Oh! and her beats are dope too.
Swans
Angel Olsen
Fri, Apr 17, 2015 – 9:00PM
@ The Regency Ballroom
Swans are a storied industrial rock band who have been at it since the early ‘80s. Angel Olsen was one of the most blogged about singer/songwriters of last year having sold out Great American Music Hall on her own a few months ago back. Put Swans and Angel Olsen together and this concert has something for everyone.
Goldenvoice & LIVE 105 Present
Interpol
Guy Blakeslee
Tue, Apr 21, 2015 – 8:00PM
@ The Warfield
Interpol are one of those seminal indie rock bands from the New York scene. They are a must see band for anyone who grew up listening to rock in the early 2000s. If you’ve never seen them live, simply put, you should be at this concert.
