We wanna send you to see Andrew Bird at the beautiful Mountain Winery!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I remember my first time attending an Andrew Bird performance like it was yesterday. I was fortunate enough to see Mr. Bird perform in my hometown, in a super intimate setting, and so close to the man that I remember what colour his striped socks were. Did I mention that he sometimes performs on stage in his socks? You’re experience won’t be the same as mine, but his amazing performing ability is sure to be stellar. Andrew Bird is an internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, whistler and songwriter who picked up his first violin at the age of four and spent his formative years soaking up classical repertoire completely by ear. As a teen Bird became interested in a variety of styles including early jazz, country blues and folk music, synthesizing them into his unique brand of pop.
