There is an explosion of fun, artsy events happening in San Francisco this time of year. 5 weekends of art fairs, artist hosted parties, as well as music and literary themed festivals. It’s October in SF, so it’s time to get out there and mix it up with thousands of artists, makers, movers and shakers. Opera & Electronic Music Mashup at Mezzanine

SF Opera Lab is throwing a pop-up party with opera & electronic music musicians. Sounds pretty dope right? Some aria mixed with Ableton, it’s classy but with a beat, it’s cadenza in a club, it’s… something new, different, and definitely worth checking out for just $20.

Five Weekend | Oct 14 – Nov 12 @All Over SF
That’s right every weekend this month SF artists will open their studios, art collectives, & galleries to the public for opening parties and art shows. fraternizing with artists is encouraged and expected. The best way to go see what San Francisco artists are up to is to grab a free SFOS guide and take a stroll through SF’s living art scene, each weekend takes place in a different part of the city.

This year it’s loveboat and Moby, Fatboy Slim & dozens of amazing DJ’s are holding it down.
