There’s a Petition to Turn the Salesforce Tower into a Game of Pac-Man

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Remember last year how after a very popular petition they turned the Salesforce Tower into the Eye Of Sauron for Halloween? Well this year there’s a petition to turn it into a humungous game of Pac-Man. The goal of the petition is to get the attention of Salesforce CEO Mark Benioff as well as artist Jim Campbell, the creator of the Salesforce Tower’s massive light installation. The art/light installation at the top of the salesforce tower uses 11,000 LEDs capable of displaying low resolution moving color imagery. So, why not a game of Pac-Man on October 31st?

Personally, I’m super down fo this kind of ridiculous fun. In fact, if Salesforce is smart, they would get this done. It would give them massive free publicity and endear them with countless funny people and video game nerds the world over.

Last year’s Eye Of Sauron

Funnily enough, the same person has a competing petition to get the tower turned into the Eye Of Sauron again. While that would cool, It like the idea of changing it up each year. Pac-Man would be really fun!
