LAUGHING MONK & BROKE ASS STUART’S BEER WEEK CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
This is going to be a super fun day…again! The gaming experts at Play in the Bay Sport & Social Club are holding three FREE tournaments throughout the day at Laughing Monk with us! There are going to be sweet prizes of $100, $50, $25 gift certificates for the winning teams, (you could win beer and money by beating Stuart at cornhole…which is really fucking easy!). And don’t forget about all the delicious beers on hand! SF Beer Week exclusives as well as Laughing Monk classics brews. They’re also going to be delicious sausages cooked by Meat by Pete!
The first tournament will start at 1pm with additional tournaments starting at 3pm & 5PM. The tournaments are free to enter and there are some sweet prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. AND Play in the Bay Sport & Social Club has all kinds of sports and gaming leagues you can learn about, signup for, like kickball, basketball, football, to flip cup and bowling teams. You don’t need a teammate to compete in our cornhole tourney, you can find one at the party super easily. And if you’re looking to get out there and mix it up with more people, signing up for a league is a great way to do it.
And, The Beer!
We asked Brewmaster Jeff Moakler at Laughing Monk what he’s looking forward to drinking this beer week and he recommended the “Razzle Reserve- Blend of Raspberry Oatmeal Stout in Whiskey BBLS and Imperial Stout in Whiskey BBLS as well as the Strata Breach- SMASH West Coast IPA with Admiral Maltings and Strata Hops.” And don’t forget The Official SF Beer Week collaboration beer called ‘Common Dreams’, which was was designed by Laughing Monk and Bartlett Hall, and brewed at Speakeasy, if you see that one in the wild definitely snap it up because there’s a limited amount.
There are going to be so many delicious beers to try at laughing monk during SF Beer Week 2020! Also the brewery is kid and dog friendly!
