Open Bar, Live Music, and Hip-Hop Photography…um, Yes Please.
For those that made it to the recent Fuck the Recession Party or the release party for my SF book, you’ll remember the inimitable Richie Cunning. He blows me away every time I see him play, so I’ve kinda taken up stalking him. It’s nothing too crazy, I’m not like driving by his house 5 times a day or anything (only because I don’t have a car), I’m just trying to see him play as often as possible. Well folks, my fandom has certainly paid off for both me and you.
Tonight is the opening of Trevor Traynor photo show “I Shoot People” at D-Structure and it’s looking like it’s going to be fucking sweet! Besides Richie Cunning, Melina Jones will be performing and Ren the Vinyl Archeologist from True Skool will be on the wheels of steel. But it gets even better, there’s gonna be an open bar too! And all you gotta do is rsvp here and then admission is FREE.
Truthfully, I’m also really looking forward to checking out Trevor Traynor’s pics (see mom I don’t just write about booze). I mean did you go to dude’s site? His shit is ill!! I feel like every single person he’s shot is in my CD collection. Speaking of which, maybe if I finally sell them all I can afford to buy one of his prints. Probably not.
