FREE Cachaca Drinks and Cheap Eats at Pisco Latin Lounge

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I love it when people send me tips about FREE stuff.  It certainly makes my life easier; I don’t have to troll the internet for an hour or two in the morning looking for some kind of magical surprise to write about.  This tip came in recently and it sounds pretty freaking sweet to me.  Here’s what it says:

Sagatiba and Pisco present “Brazilian Wednesday” on June 16th. Free Hosted Sagatiba Bar from 6-7pm, Live DJ and $5 Sagatiba cachaca cocktail specials from 7pm to close.  Hungry? Pisco has a selection of Pan Latin tapas, including charcuterie, cheese plates, chips and dips starting as low as $4-$6.

Isn’t that awesome?  I didn’t have to even reword it.  They already have all the important words in all the right places.

For those of you who don’t know, Cachaca is a basically the Brazilian rum that you find in drinks like Caipirinhas.  It’s made from fermented sugarcane, tastes delicious when put in the right drink and has been the source of many of my blinding hangovers.  It’s hard not to get hungover when the booze you’re drinking is made of sugar.
