A List of SF Bay Area Bars & Restaurants Requiring Proof of Vaccine

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

As you know by now the is Delta variant isn’t messing around. It’s far more spreadable than the original COVID-19 virus, and the fact that people are not getting vaccinated is allowing the virus to further mutate.

At the moment, the City and County of San Francisco is considering an indoor vaccine mandate, but it hasn’t pulled the trigger on it yet. In the meantime, a bunch of bars and restaurants have begun to require a proof of vaccination to enter.

To prove you have been vaccinated you either have to show your vaxx card or download a digital vaccine QR code, which you can learn how to do right here. And if you’re not vaccinated yet, you can go here to learn where to get your free shots. Also, some bars will accept a recent negative COVID test. These new rules only apply to indoor drinking and eating. You don’t have to be vaccinated to sit outside, but you really should get vaccinated (Here’s a list of 12 reasons to get vaccinated from  John’s Hopkins).

Anyways, on to the list. Bay Area photographer Eddie Hernanadez did all the research for this and is continually updating it. It was last updated on 8/11/21. Thank you SO much Eddie for your awesome contribution to the community!
