Ghostbusters at the SFSymphony

Boasting an unforgettable theme song, proton packs, and one of the best comedy trio of the 1980s, Bill Murray, Dan Akroid & Harold Ramis ,this hilarious and fun comedy classic follows an eccentric band of paranormal investigators as they wage a spectacular battle with the supernatural in New York City.  When the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra plays the film’s scores live while you watch the movie, it brings the entire experience to life and creates an intoxicating and brilliant atmosphere.  It’s the perfect thing to take family or a date to this holiday weekend, everyone has a good time at these.

AND, if you arrive early there’s a pre-concert Q & A with legendary director Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, Stripes, Animal House)  and conductor Peter Bernstein from 6:30-7:00 pm prior to each performance. Free to ticketholders.
