Carmen Sandiego Themed Music Video Shot in SF

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Berekely-based feminist queer pop/R&B band ‘Oh The Nerve‘ released their ‘Better Things To Do’ music video this week in the lead up to their first EP.  It’s a lighthearted love letter to San Francisco and Directed by Jared Swanson of the of the band Abbot Kinney.  The video is full of references to the 90’s like early Macintosh computers and the millennial favorite…wait for it, ‘WHERE IN THE WORLD IS CARMEN SANDIEGO’.  It also has tons of great shots from all over San Francisco.

Director Jared tells us, “the concept is the singer had a romantic relationship with Carmen and is the detective chasing her elusively. Kind of an on the nose metaphor but super campy, fun and nostalgic to make.”
