Cowgirl Clue
7:00 pm | DNA Lounge, 375 11th Street | $15-25
Cowgirl Clue is changing pop. Each song is doused in glittering light and diffused through a genie lamp – her music is some of the most sanguine, sunshine-wrapped ever made. In bleak times, it’s obviously okay to wallow, but Cowgirl Clue gives us hope that there is happiness right around the corner. Get down to the DNA tonight and add a little sparkle to your life!
Plague Vendor + Lowlives + Decent Criminal
9:00 pm | Ivy Room, 860 San Pablo Avenue, Albany | $15
A fearless, our-way-is-the-hard-way work ethic and famously physical live shows have won Plague Vendor a ferocious fan base. They found their own way between the powerful-but-too-polished sound of right now and the engaging-but-aging reinterpretations of classic punk/rock albums of the 60s and 70s. See them tonight in concert with the Lowlives and Decent Criminal!
