After 30 years SF’s Only Gay Sex Club & Sauna is Moving
After 30 years SF’s Only Gay Sex Club and Sauna is moving locations. Eros spokesperson Ken Rowe told BrokeAssStuart.com that the sauna, steam, showers, and massage club on 2051 Market St. is closing and they have signed a new lease “closer to downtown”.
No word on the exact new location as of yet, Eros is not releasing that info as they are currently working with the city concerning ‘bath house’ regulations and zoning. Eros is a registered legacy business in SF, a city program that gives historical and culturally relevant venues grant money for their employees and their rent, as well as guaranteed extended leases in many circumstance. This program has helped well over a hundred small businesses in our city stay in business.
According to Ken, “EROS is currently the only gay sex club in the city, so there will be a few months without a legal sex club in SF.”
There will be a final reception on at Eros Sunday, December 12 and Wednesday December 15. Then presumably the new location will open in the new year.
