We are Rescinding The BAS Endorsement of Shahid Buttar

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I’m incredibly disappointed to learn of the allegations of misogyny and sexual harassment surrounding Shahid Buttar.

While I have been a supporter of his platform and his campaign, and I believe Nancy Pelosi cares more about corporations than she does about people, there’s no place in our movement for this kind of behavior.

Because of this, I’m rescinding the BrokeAssStuart.com endorsement of Shahid Buttar. I’m also returning the unspent ad buy that his campaign purchased from the site.

May the women he hurt find healing and may Shahid learn from this, make amends, and be better going forward.
