Let’s Do the Time Warp Again!

I work early mornings at my other job, which is why I’m probably one of the few people that enjoy the fall time change. However, it’s our second weekend of Halloween AND we get an extra hour to party?! With so many good events going on this week, we’ll need that extra hour to fit it all in. Here’s what I’m most excited for the week of 10/29 and beyond.

Maggie Rogers

The Psychedelic Furs + The Jesus and Mary Chain

Kat Von D, Prayers

Long before the history-making tattoos, ubiquitous television shows, best-selling books, and influential beauty empire, Kat Von D sat down at a piano for nearly two hours a day and played. In essence, music became her first creative language and most trusted outlet. Classical training and a deep appreciation for music of all genres essentially underscored her life. This passion was funneled into her long-awaited full-length debut album, 2021’s Love Made Me Do It. A pastiche of shape-shifting analog synths, post-punk dreamscapes, gothic hues, and shy pop magnetism, her debut echos the eternal will of the perennially brokenhearted to love until death.

GLIDE Annual Holiday Jam: The Love Agenda, a Tenderloin Legacy
