Formerly branded by its location on an island, the new location is huddled under the impressively tall container cranes at the Port of Oakland. According to local lore, the cranes were the inspiration for the AT-AT Walkers from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

August Hall is a historic venue reborn in Downtown San Francisco. Live music and entertainment with special events, three full bars, and food by Fifth Arrow. August Hall has been built to be a flexible, multidisciplinary event space and our design pays homage to the great history of the building.
