Get a Sneak Peek of the High Line Open Studios at the Preview Party This Thursday

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Chelsea: a magical chunk of New York City known for its strapping gay men, glorious art galleries, the High Line, and only being accessible by the shitty ACE (consider it a fun little adventure).  This weekend, you have a chance to experience all of Chelsea’s allure at the High Line Open Studios— a three-day festival in which over 50 artists along the High Line will open up their private studios to the general public (a.k.a. us “Philistines”) this Friday- Sunday, October 14th-16th.

But also be sure to stop by the Preview Party this Thursday, October 13th, from 6-9pm.  Meet and chat with the artists, and view a selection of awesome artwork in variety of mediums.  Most importantly, you’ll be able to pick up a map of the weekend’s festival at this party– the map will allow you to begin plotting your plan of attack, and be your chief tool in blazing your High Line Open Studios trail.

Drink and talk with some cool people for FREE on Thursday, then head back to hang on the High Line and check out the festival over the weekend.  Taking the ACE to Chelsea isn’t the only part of the journey– choose your own art adventure at the Open Studios this weekend!
